post title: .there's more to life than watching mirmo.

ok. so THANKS to milenyo, many people lost their source of income, many people died and billboard posts are now folded. last thursday, a "huge storm" hit southern luzon (laguna, where i reside, is included to the lucky place where this storm passed by). it created a big disaster! many huge trees fell down. but most of all, we didn't have electricity for 4 days and 12+ hours. you could just imagine the horror of that situation! i mean, NO ELECTRICITY! no kidding! no computer, no tv, no cd player, no dvd, no charging of cellphone, no nothing!.

it was the most frustrating 4 days of my life!

it was wednesday night when my classmate informed me there's no classes the next day. the first thing that came into my mind was that i now finally have the time to watch mirmo for two consecutive days!... that would be on thursday and friday. ^_^

morning of thursday, i watched mirmo! yey! ^_^ at around 10 am, electricity was out. at the same time, GLOBE lost its signal and i was out of charge. if luck was on my side, it was probably the bad one that was cheering me on and good luck was a continent away from me. i didn't know what to do. there was no way i could charge my phone and there's nothing to do! as in nothing! i thought the no electricity thingy would just hold on for a couple of hours but then the sun already set and there's still no sign of electricity or what-so-ever. the only thing working that day is our telephone. i usually call lyle from time to time... she's the only one i can seem to contact. although i know a couple of people's landline numbers, whenever i call, it's either busy or no one's answering.

friday came and still no electricity. i asked my dad to charge my phone in his office. he did.

saturday arrived but still no electricity. i went to BF homes to "practice" for our cheering. i also watched First Day High in the cinema with Jady.

sunday made it's entrance and i went to mass. but the state of electricity is still the same.

monday i woke up early that day. we have classes and we still have no electricity. i was starting to wonder whether our electricity line is connected to milky way. meralco seems to be having a hard time giving us our electricity back.

heavenly tuesday made its way... lo and behold! electricity made its appearance and i just realized the importance of having the ability to charge your phone whenever you want. i noticed that houses looks better when there's light. and last but not the least, it's nice to sleep with the electric fan revolving, spreading its air all over the room. that's when it hit me: there's more to life than watching mirmo.
